1. Request deletion
Email [email protected] with the subject Account and data deletion. State whether you use Systemy app or Systemy POS app, your business name or system address, the email or username associated with your account, and whether you want to delete your account, particular personal data or both.
Send the request from an address associated with your account where possible. Do not send your password, cashier PIN, full payment card details or identity documents in the initial email. We may request proportionate verification before acting.
You do not need to reinstall either app to use this email route.
2. Business-managed accounts
Systemy app: if your account belongs to a business workspace, its administrator controls your access and the business records. Contact the administrator or use the request address above. Closing an entire business workspace requires authorization from the business owner or an authorized representative.
Systemy POS app: cashier and employee profiles are managed by the business. Request deletion from the business administrator or contact us so we can route the request and assist with data within our responsibility.
Archiving or disabling an employee or user record only changes its status or access. It is not the same as deleting the account and associated personal data. A deletion request must be reviewed separately, including any records that must legally be retained.
If you are a customer of a business using Systemy, contact that business about your customer records. If you cannot identify or reach it, contact us with enough information to identify the business and your request.
3. What is deleted and what may remain
After verification, the responsible organization deletes or anonymizes account and personal data that no longer needs to be retained. Business records involving other people are not automatically deleted merely because one staff member leaves.
Sales, refund, invoice, accounting and other records may need to remain for applicable legal obligations, dispute handling or justified security requirements. We or the business will explain any retained categories and the applicable retention period or the criteria used to determine it. No single retention period applies to all businesses and records.
Backup copies may remain until the applicable backup retention cycle expires. A deletion request does not mean that every backup copy is erased immediately.
4. Remove data from your device
Before removing local data, synchronize any pending business transactions and check with your business administrator. Unsynchronized records may be lost.
Android: open Settings, then Apps, select Systemy or Systemy POS, open Storage and choose Clear storage or Clear data. Names vary by device. Uninstalling the app also removes its ordinary local app data.
iPhone or iPad: open Settings, then General, then iPhone Storage or iPad Storage, select the app and choose Delete App. Offload App keeps documents and data and is not the same as Delete App.
These actions do not delete your server account, business records, exported receipts, files saved elsewhere, device backups or credentials that the operating system may retain separately. Request account and server-data deletion using the process above.
5. Response and completion
We aim to acknowledge your request within 7 days and provide a substantive response within 30 days, subject to any shorter legal deadline. Requests concerning business-controlled records may require coordination with that business. We will explain any permitted delay and the expected completion time.
Completion should identify what was deleted or anonymized and explain any retained records. Requesting deletion is separate from cancelling a paid subscription or settling outstanding business obligations.
